Over Valentines weekend we went up north to my parents cabin to snowmobile and hang out! There was tons of snow and we had so much fun playing in the snow and riding around on the snowmobile! We had to snowmobile in and haul all our stuff in. It was quite an adventure! It was a white wonderland that was absolutely beautiful!
These two were having so much fun! (once they got their machines running!)They were headed to get my brother David and his family who came up for the day! The kids all had so much fun together!
The twins along with the other kids loved to look out the window and watch the snowmobile drive by. But it wasn't too long before they wanted to go out there themselves!
Here's Daxton all bundled up for the first time! He wasn't so sure he really liked it, until he actually got to go out and ride on the sled!
All day Saturday it snowed and snowed! But we all still went out and sleded, snowboarded, built snow forts and had snowball fights. My nephews Cade and Jake came up with my sister Emily from Vegas and they just lived in the snow! We had to drag them inside to eat and warm up.
I was bringing him in to get warm! Blake took him on a quick snowmobile ride without evening putting on his coat, or gloves, or hat, or boots - nothing! He is so crazy sometimes! Daxton LOVED it though!
On Valentines we frosted heart shaped sugar cookies. The kids piled on the frosting and candy! We even made some valentines! They "loved" it!
We spent alot of time just hanging out in the cabin watching movies and playing games! We even got to see my new baby nephew Mason!
Because of the cold weather we weren't able to turn on the water in the cabin so we had to haul it in from the creek and warm it on the stove! Blake got real good at fishing it out as clean as he could! This is Blake and my sister Sarah's boyfriend Brent fetching the water!
Every night the kids would turn on some music and dance around and play! Their favorite was doing the limbo! They even had talent shows where MaKelle danced, Corbin and Daxton boxed, and Brock did a knife dance! So creative! They also made a bunch of Valentines decorations and decorated their stage!
Blake would hook up all the sleds to the back of his snowmobile and haul the kids around for hours! It was their favorite thing to do! There were a few crashes and times when the sleds would roll, but little tears were shed and then they would get right back on and do it again!
Blake and I took a ride up to the Smith and Morehouse resevoir which was frozen over, but of course Blake had to ride right out onto the middle of it! I was seriously freaked out that the ice would break beneath us at any minute! It was really pretty though! Then he tried to climb this steep hill with us both on the snowmobile and of course we got stuck! We had fun riding way up the road and I just enjoyed watching Blake play around by himself on the snowmobile!
Getting some air!
Playing around! What a Hottie!
You have not failed as long as you have tried.
