Vegas Vacation

We went to Las Vegas a few weekends ago with Blake's Family and it was so FUN! We stayed at the Excalibur and the boys thought that it was the coolest thing to get to sleep in a castle! I don't know what it is about hotels, but kids just love to sleep there! We of course had to eat at the buffet which was nice and my kids ate so much! I've never seen them eat so well. We went to the M&M Factory and saw a 3D movie, and then of course we had to go swimming! The weather was nice, thank goodness cuz all they had was an outdoor pool! The highlight of the trip was going to the Adventuredome at Circus Circus! We all rode rides, watched 3D and 4D movies and just had a blast! MaKelle and Daxton even got to ride on the ferris wheel - their first amuzement ride! Blake took Brock on the roller coaster even though he wasn't tall enough, poor Brock had no idea what he was into, this coaster had 2 loops and then a corkscrew twisty thing. Brock was so brave (even though I'm sure he was scared to death), but he now brags about it! And of course we did some shopping and dinning. We had to stop at Bass Pro Shop and the kids loved this huge aquarium there! We even got to see SANTA!! Then on our way home we stopped at our cousins the VanOrdens and got to visit for a minute while the kids played! All in all it was great and a good little (quick) getaway!

Looks like you guys had a great time here- I wish I would have known you were here! I would have come to see you! We live here and haven't done half the stuff you did while you were here. We love the Bass Pro Shops!
