We took our first trip out on the houseboat over Memorial Day weekend and we had a great time! Needless to say every trip has its ups and downs. We arrived at the houseboat to find the doors were not locked after some maintenance was done and they were wide open! We had ALOT of cleaning to do right away. But we all enjoyed much swimming, playing in the sand, sunbathing, skiing/tubing, and of course eating!! We had some rain and wind, but some great sunshine too. Brock knee boarded for the first time, Corbin went down the slide unwillingly and cried until he got out of the water, and the babies enjoyed every minute in the sand and water. It was a memorable trip!! All I can say is I love having a houseboat at the lake!
